Simple Steak Marinade

This simple and delicious marinade takes 5 basic ingredients. Works well with Flank, Skirt, tri-tip and Sirloin Steaks. It serves as a stand alone protein or with salads and tacos.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Steak (Flank, Skirt, Tri-tip or Sirloin)
  • 1 Gallon Ziplock
  • 3 Tbsp Soy
  • 3 Tbsp garlic
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Fresh Ground Pepper

Method
 

  1. Finely chop or press garlic
  2. Combine Ingredients in gallon ziplock
  3. Marinate for at least 1 hour
  4. Grill to temp of 125 and let rest for 15 minutes covered.
  5. Slice against the grain and serve

Notes

This is not a very wet marinade. It should just coat the meat, not be soaking in it.
