Recipe Description: This is a basic poultry brine. This is a the base for a lot of different chicken, turkey and game bird recipes.

1000 g Steak (Flank, Skirt, Tri-tip or Sirloin)
40 g Ziplock
5 tsp Soy

1 Add 1.5 quarts of water to the pot along with your salt and sugar. Bring to a simmer without scorching the the sugar. (If you're using this as a start for BBQ Chicken, Lemon Chicken or Thanksgiving Turkey, add your spice bill now now.)
2 Add 2.5 quarts of ice water to the pot and stir.
3 Add poultry when cooled.
